I wanted to say thanks, the house was great. It was perfect for my family
everybody had there own room and even better their own bathroom. We loved
sitting out on the porch in the evening listening to the pond and watching the
deer come up and get a drink. It was a great place for us to sit and talk and
really catch up with each other and find out what is going on in each others
life.We even enjoyed the cat, my youngest nephew would have taken him home if
his dad would have let him.(LOL) Each family took a night and cooked dinner for
everyone else and I do not think I heard anybody ask for something that you guys
did not have in the house. It is a place we would definitely come back to.
Mark Gilje June 2011 Just
wanted to tell you we had a great time this past weekend. The house was just
great – we used the three rooms on the main floor. We
enjoyed sitting out on the porch in the morning – and sitting in the lower
pavilion in the evening. We
hope to return again sometime.Thanks

We had a wonderful time this past weekend....the house fit our
group's needs really well. It was pretty hot in Eureka but the front porch,
with it's fans, offered a wonderful sitting area. Loved the yard as well....I'd
almost assume that you keep deer as pets in the area. Anyway, appreciated the
property and thanks for sharing it with us.
Thomas Crimans May 2011 We have had a wonderful visit to the Gaslight. My mother, 85, and her cousin, Wally Freeman, 80 had a
wonderful time. They had been here before but it has been a long time ago. Z.
P. was their grandfather and they have many memories from the parents about the
town and the house. ( Note : ZP was the original owner/ builder of the home and Mayor of Eureka Springs)
Leslie W. Dec 22-26 2010/ The
house was perfect! Having our family all together was wonderful!
...It was so sweet of the housekeeper to decorate for us! I was amazed
how well the kitchen was stocked with appliances, flatware, dishes,
etc.... Our experience at the Gaslight was exceptional.
We will definitely be back in the future. We had a great time. It’s a
gorgeous house and property and hope to enjoy it sometime in the spring
or summer. Thanks for allowing us to have a very memorable Christmas in
2010! Take care!
LISA F. arrival Nov , 2010 Hey Laura
Just wanted to say thanks and what a great house!! We had so much
fun, it was perfect for our needs.... Everyone was very impressed, we
will be talking about this weekend for a long time.
We were so impressed at how well stocked the kitchen was...We all cooked at the house friday
night ....we had so much
fun cooking at home, were kind disappointed that we had to go out to
eat!! so next time we'll know to stay home and cook!!! The walk to town
was nice, the walk home was a little brutle, but we didn't feel so bad
about all the food we ate!!
I wanted to let you know that Vickie the cat..... we are all cat people...so we were so excited to have her there!! I think the most awesome part was the deer that would wonder through
the yard in the evening. friday night we were sitting on the porch and
there were two deer right by the fountain. later that night, there
and they came back the next night! that was cool. You have a wonderful thing going on there....hope it stays open for years. Thanks, Lisa (owner comment..Victoria is a "neighborhood kitty" who loves our
porch...but she is not allowed inside, a number of our guests have

Just a short note to tell you what a beautiful weekend we spent at the
Gaslight Vacation Home. The weather was perfect. The home is so special and
you have taken many hours to make it unique with all the beautiful antiques.... I'd never seen so many deer in all the times
we have visited Eureka Springs.
We loved the cat! Looks like our cat which we rescued from a dumpster on
Highway 412 7 years ago. (owner comment..Victoria is a "neighborhood kitty" who loves our porch...but she is not allowed inside, a number of our guests have enjoyed her)
Debbie Neal Arrival May 2010 We had a great time and what a wonderful house!!! Except for shopping, we spent
the entire time on the front porch, temperatures were perfect, and loved
watching the deer in the yard. We went with your suggestion on the rooms and loved them.We are already trying to figure out when we can get together again and return to
the Gaslight Inn. The house is ideal.
I searched online for this vacation rental in Eureka Springs.
The house was wonderful!! It was a perfect spot for celebrating my 40th
birthday. There were 6 couples who were each thrilled to have their own
large bedroom complete with fireplaces and large bathrooms, most with
jacuzzi tubs. The house was perfect for entertaining and also close to
town for dinner and dancing. The owner/manager of the property went out
of her way to make sure that everything was special and perfect for our
trip I would recommend this vacation spot for any group of friends or family who are traveling to beautiful Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
an awesome place!!! We had our girl's weekend here and we were in awe
over how beautiful the house was and the surrounding yard. The house is
huge with beautiful rooms, almost all with tubs. There is plently of
room to eat together. The front porch was our favorite place to hang
out. We enjoyed watching the mama and baby deer in the front yard
drinking out of the fountain. We also had a lot of fun playing croquet.
There was everything we needed and more. The only thing that could of
been better, would be more seating in the living room so we could all
comfortably watch a movie together. We definitely will go back.
What a beautiful home! When searching for a vacation home in Eureka Springs
for a "Girls" weekend, I lucked upon this listing. Everything about the
house is welcoming. Just when we thought we had looked at every item in
every cabinet, we found yet another treasure. This is a truely
wonderful experience to stay in such a vintage house. We watched deer
drink from the fountain every morning while having our coffee on the
front porch. We will be back in the fall:)

My husband and I took our son, daughter and
their spouses and our 4 grandchildren (ages 3-10 yrs) here for an early
summer vacation. We loved the private bath for each bedroom.
The house was large enough to allow everyone some privacy and the two
dining areas gave us plenty of room for kids' and grown-ups' tables.
The kids loved the yard and everyone loved sitting on the large porch.
Downtown is close and we actually walked there and back. The up-hill
climb on the way back is steep. Our hostess, Laura, was very welcoming
and so helpful. We've already recommended this place to friends. We had
a great time. Thanks, Laura!
This is a perfect place for a small group or family... My family has enjoyed Thanksgiving in many vacation
houses over the years, but this was the first one to fully accommodate
our desire for 6 completely separate bedrooms (each having its own
bathroom), while providing us plenty of space for dining and games. The
porch is big enough for every one to gather to share stories and watch
the deer in the yard. Everyone made the easy walk downtown each day,
yet, if you walk the other direction - a cafe, grocery store, a health
food store, and the liquor store are all a short distance away (and no
hill in that direction either). Also, there is a nice place to have a
drink a couple of blocks down the street called the Lumber Yard
(predominantly country music). It is a friendly place to enjoy a
beverage and play a game of pool. The Gaslight has plenty of parking in
the back and the house is on a large lot, therefore it is the perfect
place for family reunions, weddings, or any type of gathering. I would
recommend the Gaslight to anyone and we are looking forward to our next
stay. (Note - We used Denise as our caterer and she did an outstanding

was a great place for our family members to come together from
different cities and states and enjoy some time together! It was
located in a beautiful setting (very quiet and lots of green space).
The outdoor space was great for lawn games and the veranda was a great
place to relax and visit. Early morning and evening hours we watched
deer on the lawn. Downtown was a short walk or a short trolley ride
away. We spent time together playing games of an evening (some we
brought and others were in the home). We would whole-heartedly
recommend this home as a great place to enjoy a wonderful vacation.
stayed here with 3 other couples in June 2009. There was plenty of room
for everyone! The dining area and living room were both large enough to
accomodate all of us and we loved sitting on the large porch. There is
a huge yard for lawn games and the house is close to downtown Eureka shopping.
My family and friends shared this wonderful vacation
home for a week and we just LOVED it! There was lots of space, privacy,
and it was furnished with absolutely everything we could possibly need
for a very relaxing, comfortable, and enjoyable stay. The yard is great
for playing outdoor games--it would also make a beautiful setting for a
wedding. It's very convenient to the downtown area (5-10 minute walk)
but also very private (no traffic noise at all.) The largest grocery
store in Eureka Springs is nearby (3 blocks) and
Hiway 62 is close as well making it convenient to get to any of the
area attractions. The trolley car hub is at the bottom of the hill (2-3
block walk) and you can catch any of the trolley routes there. We saw
lots of deer, a friendly fox, and a couple of racoons! The large
bedrooms and baths with jacuzzi's were a star attraction as well. Our
friend from Chicago loved the loft (he's sort of private) and the 2
sets of washers/dryers made doing laundry a snap. We will definitely be
